In one month, a major clash and maybe the best match of the year, goes down in Vegas. It’s a showdown between two of the best in the game, a fight with major repercussions for the light heavyweight division and one that just might make a new crossover boxing star. Yes, we’re talking Andre Ward vs Sergey Kovalev. It goes down November 19th, and we can’t wait.

Make no mistake, this is one of the best match-ups possible right now, and if it proves to be a great fight with great performances, it will have a major impact. The reputations of both men are so high that should one of them impress in a big way in an exciting fight, they will be viewed as standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez as the very best in the fight game today, not to mention the best at 175.

Analyst Lee Wylie doesn’t know who’s going to win, but he does know what both men bring to the ring, the tools in their respective toolboxes, and the dangers they pose to one another. Watch his newest video and learn more about the tactics and strategies of two champions, two undefeated warriors, who, with the whole boxing world watching, will clash on November 19. Check it out:

Highly tactical match. Great offense vs. great defense Kovalev could not dispose of Hopkins although he pitched a shut out…. hope for Ward in that. Wards offensive skill set is first and foremost defensive which will frustrate SK. Close decision to Kovalev for activity although I am only 51/49.

I do think Barrera took 4-5 rounds from Ward whose punching lags ominously behind his superb craft(in-spite of any calls to the contrary supported by an off balance knockdown that did no damage). Other than Frotch & Abraham, talented boxers in possession of obvious flaws, I’m not as enamored with Ward’s vitae as so many others seem to be. That said, not knowing how to lose is a skill & advantage in it’s own regard.
